Deadhead Rum is born from a blend of pure sugarcane juice and rich molasses grown in privately-owned plantations located in Tapachula, Chiapas, a region known to produce some of the most outstanding rums in the world. Fermented and double-distilled in small batches, the rum is then aged in Chiapas and American oak barrels for six years. Once aged, the art of blending Deadhead begins.

Dark Chocolate-Flavored Rums : Deadhead Rum

Denizen Vatted Dark Rum is a blend of rum from Guyana (80% of of the blend) and unaged rhum agricole from Martinique (20% of the blend). The Guyana rum portion is made from three different rums: 25% distilled in French Savalle and Wooden coffey stills and aged in ex-bourbon barrels, 25% unaged wooden pot still rum, and the remaining 50% unaged wooden pot still rum. Bottled at 100 proof. Incredibly floral aromas encapsulate tropical fruit and some earthier elements in the nose.
