The monitoring and understanding of our constantly changing planet Earth is one of the key activities within ESA. So, to take its part in preserving our planet and reducing the Agency’s environmental footprint, ESA has been undertaken for the last decade, concrete actions to reduce the environmental footprint of its activities. In this perspective, the activities to be led by the Agency in the coming years to foster its contribution to the sustainable development of the society, according to its corporate social responsibility principles, the ESA Green Agenda (EGA) has been established.
